CleanWhite® LEDs operate using a patented spectrum of 405nm light and other visible wavelengths, created the only lighting LED to be classified 100% safe for human eyes and skin according to IEC 62471 (Risk Group 0). CleanWhite eliminates eye strain and damage caused circadian rhythm.
In both CleanWhite Pure and SyncWhite LED technologies, the 405nm wavelength targets porphyrins found in bacteria and fungi. This light excites these molecules, generating reactive oxygen species (ROS) that destroy the microbial cells from within—disrupting membranes, proteins, and DNA. SyncWhite LED enhances this process further with an additional 470nm wavelength, which targets flavoproteins and adds another layer of antimicrobial impact while helping regulate circadian rhythms.
